Welcome to my first posting! I made this blog as a way to document my new experiences living in Palm Desert. I’m excited to do so! We made it to Palm Desert successfully! As anyone who has moved before knows, packing and moving is a ton of work. I packed everything myself and hired a moving company, NEXT movers. Initially I read their reviews on Yelp, and they send multiple estimate inquiries it different moving companies in my area. After receiving multiple responses, I set up a zoom estimate with NEXT movers. After the zoom call, they wrote up a contract with an estimate and other possible fees. Due to the fact that my move was considered long distance, I paid a flat rate that was not dependent of driving time. With the traffic in LA, I was happy about that! Overall, I was happy with the company and I would recommend them!
